She has 20 years of experience leading Analytics, Insights, and Media for the world’s largest CPG company living and working in the US, Russia, Switzerland, and Canada. She’s visited over 40 different wine regions and is active in local wine scenes. She’s co-chaired wine charity auctions raising thousands of dollars for local charities, been a wine judge for international wine festivals, and is a member of several food, wine, and wine tasting organizations. Through BG Wine Consulting, Bethanie brings her knowledge of analytics and behavioral sciences to wine companies to help them develop winning strategies and executions.
Guenter Matthews is a 2021 WSET Diploma with Merit graduate and holds an MBA. After spending 10+ years in Marketing in several business units and countries at the world’s largest consumer goods company, Guenter turned to the world of quantitative finance where he leverages his knowledge of statistics and data science. He is continuously on the forefront of the latest analytical programming languages and is versatile in Python, R, and their major data analysis libraries. Guenter has visited over 40 different wine regions and has a 1300 bottle wine cellar with an extensive collection of Rieslings from his home country of Germany. Guenter uniquely combines his extensive wine knowledge with his data science skillset to develop algorithms that uncover which metrics matter most for driving your sales.
